He therefore sets off on a journey accompanied by Štístek, with whom he grew up since childhood, and the little dog Štístek, whose life he saved some time ago. A whole series of traps, adventures and surprises await Jiřík on his long journey to find the princess. He has no idea that Štístek is full of envy and is not as sincere a friend as he seemed. Fortunately, Jiřík has brave allies, animals, whom he helped along the way...
After more than fifty years, Karel Jaromír Erben's classic fairy tale Goldilocks comes to life in a completely new, adventurous adaptation. The exciting story brings a visually captivating world full of special effects and magic, uniquely complemented by witty dialogues from "talking" animals, led by the ever-present dog Štístek.
The role of George is played by the talented Tomáš Weber this time. Petr Štěpánek, who played this role in the famous 1973 version, is now returning as the king. George's friend Štěpán is played by the popular Marek Lambora, and the role of Goldilocks is played by the young actress Jasmína Houf. Other roles will include Ján Jackuliak, Marián Mitaš, Tomáš Matonoha, Jan Budař, and Martin Myšička.
The script for the fairy tale is written by Lucie Konášová, the author of the successful film The Angel of the Lord. The film, directed by Jan Těšitel, combines modern film technology with love and deep respect for the classic fairy tale world. The adventures of Jiřík and his faithful dog Štístek bring a narrative spectacle full of beautiful scenery, thrilling scenes, humor and magical moments.
