A family musical fairy tale

The inspiration for this magical performance was the original classic fairy tale by KJ Erben, which was revived for a modern audience by Jan Pixa.

The audience can expect a return to the beloved melodies of A. Michajlov with Krečmar's lyrics, which became iconic thanks to the film adaptation from 1973 with P. Štěpánek and J. Kotrbová. For example, "That's how it goes in our castle", "Just me", "I'll give you a ring". In this new production as well, together with cook Jiřík, we will try to win Goldilocks, with the help of loyal friends ants, crows, a goldfish and a fly, which is charmingly portrayed by children from the Karlín musical studio Múzy.

And because the Malá scéna has as its main goal the support of children and youth, it brings an exciting combination of new actors and proven veterans not only to the auditorium, but also to the stage. In the title roles of Goldilocks and Jiřík, promising names appear alongside experienced actors such as Bronislav Kotiš, Dušan Kollár, Oldřich Kříž and Martin Sochor.

Behind the director's desk stands Filip Renč, whose personal contribution and creativity the theater greatly values and expects to bring a new dimension to the fairy tale. This time, Petr Hloušek and Roman Šolc come up with stage and costume magic with the innovative involvement of a puppet theater for crows, ants and goldfish.
