Each participant must have their own quad skates, rentals will not be possible on site .
Price: 500 CZK (public), 400 CZK (CZirkidz students)

Part 1 – technical
Focus on:
• balance and stability
• basic driving
• working with the center of gravity
• transitions, turns, movement control
• safe movement on quad skates

Part 2 – dance & experimental
Connecting quad skates with:
• dance movement
• flow sequences
• creative combinations
• acrobatic elements
• improvisation and movement research

The workshop combines technique, dance, creativity and acrobatic thinking. Suitable for all those interested who have their own four-wheeled skates (not inline!) and want to try out new ways to use skates or learn the basics under the guidance of a professional instructor.

Lecturer: Lucy Seale
British-Australian artist whose work straddles the boundaries of theatre, circus and comedy. Specialist in quad skating, movement art and dance-acrobatic techniques.

The workshop is held in English, translation into Czech is provided.
