Carag will have to pass demanding tests not only in learning how to transform, defend himself, and manage his emotions, but also in this friendship. Beasts and herbivores don't usually get along... Whether he can recognize his power and decide where he belongs will determine the fate of both his friends and the other woodwalkers, as their future is in grave danger. The Woodwalkers film is the first part of a fantastic trilogy based on the book series of the same name and has become a global phenomenon. Carago's thrilling adventure has sold over four million copies worldwide and has been translated into more than twenty languages, including Czech. It is therefore not surprising that the creators took great care in choosing its main character, choosing from 20,000 applicants. The four-round casting ultimately succeeded French actor Emile Chérif, who had to complete a week-long "animal training" course before filming in order to be able to faithfully imitate the way cougars move. In addition, two rare beasts were present directly on the set. The role of Carago's teacher was played by German actor Oliver Masucci, known from the cult series Dark or the chilling comedy Here We Go Again.
