The Indian Summer is coming – a kind of spider Christmas – it is full of joy but also hustle and bustle and duties. Daddy Webster gets sick from the stress and the rush of tasks. And he loses his ability to make spider webs. But without it, the family would not be able to take part in the most beautiful part of the Indian Summer – and decorate the tree in the yard. Lili is devastated. Daddy needs to get well, get some rest quickly! The others distribute his tasks and get to work. When they gather at the festive table in the evening, Daddy is much better, but his ability to make spider webs has not yet returned. Maybe a festive dinner will do the trick. Grandma bakes ants and the other Websters pass the time by talking about the most interesting adventures they have had recently: For example, how Lili, Hugo and Grandpa went to the Moon in Grandpa's rocket. When they are alone together, a magical moment occurs, which can only be about Indian Summer, and in it the most secret wishes come true. Lili's also come true, the thread is returned to Dad and all the Websters fly around the tree on it and decorate it festively.
