Vlastně tě mám ráda, tati

Grace's life is turned upside down when her aging father, Andy Goodrich, calls for help. Not that he ever wanted anything from her, or that she was shocked that his second wife and mother of their nine-year-old twins had left him. It is striking that she asks her adult daughter to look after her twenty-seven years younger half-siblings whom she hardly knows.

Grace's life is turned upside down when her aging father, Andy Goodrich, calls for help. Not that he ever wanted anything from her, or that she was shocked that his second wife and mother of their nine-year-old twins had left him. It is striking that she asks her adult daughter to look after her twenty-seven years younger half-siblings whom she barely knows. Actually, she doesn't even know him very well, because he was never exactly father of the year. Both find themselves in a completely new role. Grace meets the dad she never had, and Andy truly becomes a parent for the first time in his life. Mila Kunis and Michael Keaton excel in the lead roles. The age difference between Grace and her two younger siblings is 27 years, so their common father is more like their grandfather's age. Andy will soon become that too, but for now he has a lot to do to deal with the pitfalls of modern parenting and the schedule of class meetings where he was left alone. What he desperately needs now is help from his eldest daughter, Grace. What she's longed for all her life is the dad he never really was. Now they both have a chance to start over. At the end of the story, only three things matter: how much you loved, how well you lived, and how you gave up things that weren't even meant for you... The winner of two Golden Globes, Michael Keaton, returns to the screen in a comedic role after years full of drama. And it must be noted that it is just as charming as it once was. At the same time, he could not have asked for a better representative of the movie daughter than Mila Kunis for his spectacular return. She started her career at the age of 15, when she shone in the popular sitcom Zlatá sdemdesátá. Dad actually refers to films from the 70s and 80s, which combined comedy with drama and caused tears of laughter and emotion with their believability, without losing the relevance of the story of the erring father. "I wrote it for Michael Keaton, and I'm looking forward to seeing him again in the genre we all fell in love with," revealed Hallie Meyers-Shyer, who is no newcomer to the comedy genre. She starred in several films herself and made her directorial debut in 2017 with the romantic comedy Who's the Right One starring Reese Witherspoon.
