It is incredibly diverse in terms of landscape: wild coastline, high mountains, fjords, glaciers, beautiful fern forests, rounded "hobbit" hills, breathtaking volcanoes and geothermal phenomena. Where else will you find such a diverse mix of sensations in an area similar to Great Britain?
At the same time, New Zealand is expensive and remote like no other developed country in the world. I dreamed of the land of the long, elongated cloud, as the Maori call the country, as a child, reading travel books. How did my imagination meet reality?
