Little Edda has a big dream – to become a famous racing driver. Instead, she helps her dad day after day in a dilapidated amusement park, guiding visitors and selling milkshakes. But Edda wants more! She dreams of being like her idol – racing driver Ed, who is on the verge of his fifth Grand Prix victory. By chance, Edda unexpectedly meets her idol - and soon discovers that her hero is actually a rather conceited superstar. So when she passes his race car, she can't resist... She gets behind the wheel and steps on the gas! When Ed tries to stop her, he is unfortunately injured. And if he wants to avoid disqualification, he must enter the race, which starts in Paris, the next day. Edda knows how to win the race! She just has to convince the slob to take her on, face strong opponents on the track together, uncover a crazy conspiracy and survive a crazy ride across Europe.
