THE LIBLICE TRAGEDY

 

A combination of Vosto5’s traditional poetics with a Costa-Gavras-style spy thriller and a low-brow television crime drama.

 

After nationwide medium-wave radio broadcasting has been discontinued, radio technicians set out for the small village of Liblice, where the largest land-based transmitter in Central Europe has been built. By all accounts, it should already be passive, but all remote measurements show that it is still transmitting and receiving! What, to whom, and why? An experienced team of radio professionals must therefore go into the field and unravel the greatest mystery of our airwaves, the interconnection of spacetime and the flow of energies, and quite by chance they arrive at a fascinating discovery.
