Five friends accidentally cause a fatal car accident. They decide to keep their part in it a secret, making a pact to take their terrible secret to the grave rather than face the consequences. A year later, their past comes back to haunt them, forcing them to confront a terrifying truth: someone knows what they did last summer... and wants revenge. When a mysterious killer starts stalking them one by one, they discover that it's happened before, and turn to two survivors of the legendary Southport Massacre of 1997 for help.
