A vivid, moving trailer for the film American Girl

 

The film American Girl found its energy not only in the true story, years of work on the film script, its subsequent adaptation into a stage production, or in its creators, but above all in the exceptional circle of children's performers that emerged from children's homes and separate groups connected to children from families like yours. A circle of children that stands on the authenticity of the fate of each of them.

 

Audition, working together, understanding group energy, trust, a new meaning, filming, new relationships, new hopes and directions, a way to get out of the vicious circle of your own destiny, and a chance to finally show someone what you are capable of and how much you want to fight and overcome your handicaps. All of this was imprinted on the emerging film and became its next meaning.

 

The path to the film American Girl led through several forms of the stage American Girl, so it returns to its roots and gives viewers a unique chance to experience the energy and meaningfulness of the integration of these extraordinary children full of energy, joy, and determination.

 

The production won the 2024 Theatre Newspaper Award in the Alternative Theatre category.
