Mike Sardina (Hugh Jackman) makes a living impersonating many times more successful performers and singing their songs on various entertainment shows. The constantly beaten Claire (Kate Hudson) tries to earn a living in the same way. When the two meet, love is like a beam, despite their previous bitter experiences. "We all completely agreed. The two of them played together so perfectly that even in an ideal scenario we would not have dared to imagine. I have never experienced so many crew members standing at the monitor while shooting a film and watching that concert," says the director, who believes that audiences in cinemas will feel the same way.
