After the summer concert series as part of the Rock In 2025 series, Škwor will take a well-deserved break from live performances until December 5th, when the band will return to the almost sold-out O2 Universe in Prague after a year. But that doesn't mean that nothing will be done in the meantime. On the contrary! On October 3rd, fans can look forward to the continuation of the tradition of LP reissues of older albums, specifically the anniversary 180 g vinyl Hledání Identity. In addition, the band is now happy about another Platinum record from Supraphon, which they received for their 25th birthday live show. And to top it all off, the group around Petr Hrdlička is preparing their first ever Czech-Slovak tour for the first months of 2026, called Blíž k vám Tour 2026!
"We are very happy that our live 25 years live is already platinum! We did not expect it to have such a great response, it is unbelievable. We are glad that we managed to capture the concert atmosphere of our 25th anniversary celebration in this way and thanks to that, fans can remember it from the recording," the band comments on the prestigious award for great sales, which they received from the hands of representatives of the Supraphon label, characteristically in the O2 universum hall, where the live recording was made in October 2023. At the same time, Škwor is gradually publishing individual songs from the birthday concert setlist on his YouTube channel and the entire video recording is available at Supraphonline.cz.
Moreover, the aforementioned can also serve as an invitation not only to the December concert at O2 universum, but also to the just announced spring tour. As part of it, Škwor will return to smaller venues with limited capacity, and the concerts will have a touch of exclusivity in many ways, including greater proximity to fans.
"Early next year, we will be embarking on our first ever Czechoslovak tour, which we have named Blíž k vám Tour 2026. The main idea is to play in smaller venues and thus get closer to the fans. This idea originated at our concerts in Slovakia, where we were reminded of the great atmosphere of club performances. Šňůra will have a total of fourteen stops, six of which are in Slovakia. Due to limited capacity, it will be a more exclusive affair, so we recommend that everyone not hesitate too long to purchase tickets," says the band about the upcoming tour, which will start on January 31, 2026 in Česká lípa and end on April 2 in Trutnov.
A link to a complete list of all stops can be found at the link below, as well as a pre-order for the vinyl reissue of the album Hledání identity, which is being released almost exactly 10 years to the day after the original release. The album, which is characterized by raw sound, strong pressure and lyrics that go straight to the heart, has undergone an audio remaster and a new graphic design of the cover for the needs of the LP, promising a full-fledged experience for fans and collectors.
