When a young girl's sketchbook falls into a strange pond, her drawings come to life - chaotic, real, and unbridled. As the town descends into chaos, her family must band together again to stop the monsters that should never have been unleashed.
A young girl, Amber, draws truly unusual monsters – but when her sketchbook accidentally falls into a mysterious pond, her drawn “emotional” monsters come to life: unpredictable, chaotic and dangerously real. The town finds itself in crisis, and siblings Amber and Jack embark on a thrilling hunt for the creatures they didn’t want to release into the world, while their father, Taylor, desperately tries to find the children and keep the family together. The film combines fantasy with the healing power of creation: it shows how the darkness of loss can turn into light when you name the pain and face it together. The style is inspired by children’s drawings, so the “monsters” look like scenes drawn with chalk and markers straight from paper – and it is this visual idea that gives the action scenes personality and tenderness. Imagine a film that has the same feelings and colors as the box office hit Inside Out: Pixar (2015), but at the same time the same tension and adventure as Jurassic Park - a story full of fun, great emotions, courage and friendship.
