Two men in a heterosexual marriage have an unexpected experience that forces them to reevaluate their understanding of sexuality, gender, and identity. One of them has sex with another man, without considering it a sign of homosexuality or infidelity, and then discusses it with his wife. The other finds himself in night dreams in which he is seen as a woman, which causes him confusion and leads him to question the extent to which his personality is shaped by the views of others.
