The Two Worlds exhibition presents an artistic reflection of the fundamental human interface: the thin and at the same time inseparable boundary between the inner and outer worlds — between the landscape of emotions, spiritual states, and imagination on the one hand, and the physical, concrete world on the other.
In his work, Herrmann systematically develops the image of this dualism not as a conflict but as an interplay. Both worlds coexist, condition each other and, above all, shape our identity. The exhibition captures their constant intertwining, tension and rare moments of balance.
The visual language of the paintings oscillates between intuitive abstraction and muted symbolism. The motifs of verticals, layers and fragments refer to both corporeality and transcendental overlap. The works do not appear interpretive — rather, they open up space for silent reflection on how these two worlds meet, clash and transform within each of us.
Two Worlds is not a choice of opposites, but a map of a shared space in which a person becomes who they are — through choice, perception, and the ability to see the invisible.
The opening will take place on Tuesday, January 13th at 5:00 PM.
