REST & CHAMPION SOUND

Despite the initial rap projects and attempts, Rest came to wider public awareness mainly thanks to freestyle battles, where for a while he belonged to the absolute top in the country. The next logical step was to record his own album, which happened in 2010, when the album Premiéra was released in collaboration with Rest & DJ Fatte. Thanks to the perfect combination of beats, rap and themes, the record was a huge success, and Resta became one of the leading Czech rap artists "overnight".

Three years later, in October 2013, the album Střepy was added to the Premiere, again in the duo of Rest & DJ Fatte. Shards begins exactly where the Premiere ended, and can therefore be considered a continuation of the first album in terms of beat and lyric.

After a longer break in publishing, when Rest mainly distributed features and gave concerts, his third album Restart was released in April 2018, this time as a solo album, with music from many leading Czech/Slovak producers. On the album, the lyrics strongly reflect the changes in Rest's life, and his work and message move significantly differently than on previous albums.

For Rest's fourth album, fans had to wait four long years until autumn 2022, when Rest together with DJ Wich released their album called Tlak. Once again, it was a hit "in the black" and the record received a great response both on streaming platforms and YouTube, as well as at festivals and clubs.

Rest's latest project is called A)TÝM and he forms it together with his former rap role model, the legend Kat from Prago Union. The joint album was released in May 2024 and again achieved considerable success, especially among fans of true school beats & bars, which both Adams are known for...
