Opera as you have never experienced it before
One of the jewels of Czech opera in a traditional and audience-friendly performance. The opera presents Smetana's Bartered Bride to the public in a sensitively shortened form, in a version with spoken dialogues, accompanied by a piano and two clarinets. Leading Czech and Slovak singers perform in the title roles, including soloists of the National Theater and world opera stages. Thanks to the chamber accompaniment of a piano and two clarinets, they are easy to understand. Bedřich Smetana's famous work thus becomes an experience for the general public - the production is suitable both for first acquaintance with opera and for opera enthusiasts. Tereza Mátlová, Daniel Hůlka, Vladimír Chmelo, Peter Malý, Vojtěch Pošvář and others appear in the main roles to the sound of popular melodies such as "Why would we not enjoy" or "I know a girl".
