On the family farm of Líba and Arnošt, preparations for their granddaughter's christening are in full swing. Líba is clear - everything must go exactly as she dreamed and planned. The guest list, the decorations and the festive atmosphere are carefully controlled. But as it happens in this family, the reality is completely different. Simona secretly adopts a different name for her little girl, Arnošt embarks on his own "detective" search for the lost keys, and Karel and Richard manage to cause quite a stir in the jewelry store. And to top it all off, Vlastička appears - a saleswoman with amnesia, whose presence triggers another avalanche of unexpected and grotesque situations. As the big day approaches, old secrets, unspoken grievances, and petty family lies begin to surface. Peaceful preparations turn into a series of improvisations, misunderstandings, and emotional clashes, revealing that keeping a family together is just as challenging as throwing the perfect christening. Birthday Wishes: Christening loosely follows on from previous successful comedies and once again relies on kind humor, a brisk pace, and situations that are familiar to anyone who has ever experienced a big family celebration. And as is often the case not only in this family, even when everything goes wrong, they always manage to get back together in the end. Eva Holubová, Jaroslav Dušek, Táňa Pauhofová, Jaroslav Plesl, Anna Polívková, David Švehlík, Simona Babčáková, Matěj Hádek, Tomáš Klus and Tomáš Měcháček – that’s just part of the star-studded cast of the new family comedy Birthday Wishes: Baptisms, which loosely follows on from the extremely successful film Birthday Wishes, which has been seen by more than a million viewers so far. The script was once again written by Marta Ferencová and Adam Dvořák, and directed by Marta Ferencová, who has already won over audiences with the films Birthday Wishes, Birthday Wishes and Too Personal an Acquaintance.
