A theatre cabaret about Eva Olmerová, a brilliant jazz singer full of contradictions.
A lady with First Republic manners and at the same time a vulgar alcoholic, who preferred singing in smoky pubs for a shot of rum to performing on a grand stage. An “undesirable individual” and a thorn in the side of the communist regime. Inconvenient, unclassifiable, untameable, longing for love. Always herself, under all circumstances. So much herself that sometimes it was impossible to bear.
