The Eyes of the Young competition: Feature film – Documentary – Animation is intended for creators under 35 years of age. The amateur competition Eyes of the Young is intended for authors who are taking their first steps in the world of cinema and short films. Only persons under the age of 21 who are not film school students can apply for amateur competitions. The length of films in each category must not exceed 30 minutes. This year, for the first time, visitors to the Trutnov Spektrum film festival can participate in voting for the best film, directly during the festival. The winner of the festival will be announced this year at the 10th edition of the Spektrum festival in Swidnica, Poland, two weeks later by an expert jury and based on votes from the festivals in Trutnov and Swidnica.
