The exhibition Scream and Silence presents a collection of sculptural works that map the artist's last decade of work and reveal her consistent, yet changing, artistic language. At the center of her thinking is the human figure – not as a stable image of identity, but as an open structure into which layers of emotions, experiences, and social tensions are inscribed.
The artist creates sculptures that are both strong and fragile, attractive and disturbing. Their expression moves on the edge of the grotesque and the subtle poetic, between irrational symbolism and personal introspection. Humor here is not an escape, but a tool that allows us to examine even the most serious topics with distance and precision.
The human body becomes a medium for exploring identity, loss, spirituality and destruction. The figures oscillate between iconography and deformation, between archetype and personal gesture. The exhibition moves from figures reminiscent of secular images to monumental, sometimes oppressive bodies that reflect the restless imagination of the contemporary world and its possible futures.
Each sculpture carries its own narrative and internal symbolic order. Together they create a multi-layered space in which themes of human vulnerability, collective memory, and broader ecological and social contexts intertwine. Scream and Silence is not just a showcase of individual works, but a comprehensive statement about man – a being straddled between an inner voice and the silence that surrounds him.
The opening will take place on Tuesday, April 7th from 5:00 PM.
