Nepolapitelný

His life was worthless. But he was a pretty good observer. He could notice the smallest details, established rules and imperfections in the system. He was also extremely inventive, smart and charming. And nothing has really changed about that, because he is still alive. A crime comedy based on the true story of former American officer Jeffrey Manchester, who became famous for a series of sophisticated burglaries into McDonald's restaurants, where he sneaked in unnoticed through the roof, and shocked the police and the public with how long he managed to remain elusive. He hid where no one was looking for him - in a toy store. A star-studded film with Channing Tatum and Kirsten Dunst about bad decisions, brilliant ideas and love, from which it is the hardest thing to escape.

Jeffrey Manchester (Channing Tatum) could have been just another nameless thief who was driven to desperate actions by a desperate situation. But he is not! And so he has a record not only in the criminal record, but also on Wikipedia. Thanks to his wit, he was able to break into dozens of fast food restaurants across the States while remaining both elusive and charming at the same time. He was unusually polite to the employees of the fast food establishments he robbed. But during his ingenious planning in a safe hiding place behind the walls of a giant toy store, he does not consider one thing - that he might fall in love. His fateful meeting with Leigh (Kirsten Dunst) becomes a turning point. That's when Jeffrey's double life begins to fall apart and a thrilling game of cat and mouse begins, in which his past slowly catches up with him. “Director Derek Cianfrance has created a film that is a hugely entertaining ride, gripping, emotional and, in its own way, funny,” says Channing Tatum, who had to follow a strict exercise and diet regimen to lose weight from 107 to 78 kg for the role. His character is not just a criminal who has hit rock bottom, he is vulnerable inside and out. “He is a beautiful and unhappy soul,” says the actor. Filming was also a challenge for his co-star Kirsten Dunst, because “to make a film that is sweet but not too sweet, to make something so full of life where so many things can go wrong, is the hardest thing,” adds Leigh. The star duo is rounded out by Peter Dinklage, Ben Mendelsohn, LaKeith Stanfield, Juno Temple and Uzo Aduba. The crime comedy Elusive is as emotional as life itself, because it was inspired by it. It's about a man trying to hide from the law and from himself. It's about what happens when an unexpected emotion enters the world of a criminal. And last but not least, it's about everyone who wants to run away from their own conscience.
