Atlantic Road Trip is an acclaimed international musical ensemble that has captivated audiences around the world with its unique fusion of Celtic folk music and modern jazz. Through the ethereal interplay of pipes, saxophone, trumpet and vibraphone, the group creates a rich sonic mosaic where ancient traditions meet modern improvisation. Through virtuoso musicianship and deep cultural dialogue, Atlantic Road Trip has established itself as a pioneering force in cross-cultural musical exploration, captivating audiences from chamber clubs to prestigious festival stages around the world.

Led by trumpeter Chad McCullough (USA), vibraphonist Miro Herák (CZ/SK/NED) and woodwind specialist Paul Towndrow (Scotland), Atlantic Road Trip was formed following a performance at the 2021 Glasgow Jazz Festival and has since built a loyal international fan base through extensive tours of the UK, Ireland, USA, the Netherlands and Belgium.

ONE's debut album (2023, Calligram Records) captures their unique approach to reimagining folk traditions through the prism of contemporary jazz improvisation. Recorded in Glasgow between gigs, the album kicked off a three-week tour of the United States, culminating in the premiere of Over Mountain, Under Sky – an ambitious, grandiose work that featured a full jazz ensemble and string orchestra in addition to the core trio.

Their upcoming album Watch As The Echo Falls (2026, Calligram Records) deepens the exploration of innovative sonic territory while presenting a coherent musical vision of this transatlantic collaboration.

Whether performing as a trio or accompanied by exceptional rhythm sections, Atlantic Road Trip brings a distinctive sound that stands out in contemporary music. Thanks to their masterful fusion of musical folklore and jazz improvisation, they have established themselves as one of the most exciting ensembles on the international scene.
