Marek Nenutil, also known by the pseudonym Openmindz360, is one of the prominent solitaires of the contemporary art scene. His work is not born from academic training, but from a deep-rooted need to create – as if every day, every brushstroke or rhythm of drawing was another attempt to understand one's own existence.
He was not forced by the creator, for whom the image is both light and shadow, asylum and diagnosis. It does not matter whether his handwriting is written on canvas, relief or installation - visuality is the basic language of being for him. Every medium becomes a tool for personal mythology, for mapping inner landscapes, where intuition and precision blend, street art gesture and subtle introspection.
His own body, densely covered in tattoos, is not just a gallery appendix, but a living proof of the author's inseparability from the world of forms. Nenutil does not step out of his work - on the contrary: he becomes part of it. It is an existence under the sign of the image, where painting is not just a way of recording, but a physiological rhythm. In his world, lines turn into ciphers and colors into emotional sediments that reflect the tension between instinct and control.
From early drawings and illustrations, through graffiti and street art, to contemporary monumental paintings, Nenutil remains faithful to the themes that shaped him: identity, everyday reality, fragility and decay. His canvases are not aesthetic objects, but statements – about himself, about time, about unrest.
The exhibition at the UFFO Gallery presents a cross-section of the author's work, which is created outside the canons and yet speaks to them mercilessly. Nenutil does not work with distance – his work is intimate, raw and without compromise. His paintings do not explain, but live. And perhaps that is why they reflect what is most powerful in art: authenticity.

The opening will take place on Tuesday, June 3rd from 5:00 PM.
