Knight Danael, Princess Žadyna, elf Šimi, warrior Gryf and colossus Razia were once the official guardians of the planet Alysia. They were paid to be fearless warriors who had the whole world at their feet. However, in a duel with the sinister wizard Darkel, they accidentally broke a magic stone and condemned themselves and their people to eternal youth for all eternity. They were all transformed into children who would never grow up and would only helplessly watch the inevitable destruction... Unless someone manages to break the terrible curse. But who, when the inseparable five Legends are a thing of the past?! They have closed themselves off from those around them and from themselves, becoming targets of ridicule and victims of their own doubts. At least until their archenemy Darkel, who wants to destroy them once and for all and gain absolute power, lures them into a trap and their paths cross again. When he also imprisons one of them - Princess Žadyna, it is decided. Regardless of what happened and the fact that they now look like children, they must come together and stand up to evil. After all, anyone can be a superhero, it "only" takes courage! Legends of Alysia is the first ever film adaptation of the cult fantasy saga. It brings the unique visual style of the comic to the big screen, using traditional animation techniques and modern CGI technologies to capture the fantastic world of Alysia as faithfully as possible. Director Guillaume Ivernel based the original work on an adventure story and humorous interactions between five superheroes. The script was written in collaboration with Antoine Schoumsky, Hélène Grémillon and Patrick Sobral himself, who is the author and illustrator of the comic series and also actively participated in the feature-length animated film.
