You want to have a moment to yourself and someone interrupts you. A conflict of epic proportions begins! A comedy full of unexpected twists, intrigue and sharp humor.

Famous Scottish stand-up comedian Keir McAllister wrote The Bench for himself (the character of Joe will be played by Petr Stach) and for his friend Paul Sneddon (Miroslav Hanuš), who is a generation older. The world premiere in 2018 was a hit. A nationwide tour followed, and McAllister definitely stepped beyond the shadow of "just" an entertainer. It's no wonder - The Bench excels at what the best stand-up performances excel at, during which you laugh at someone criticizing you.
