A fairy tale for all generations about love and betrayal in a new concept by the Dance Theatre of Honza Pokusil. White Odette, black Odile, clueless Prince Siegfried and evil warlock Redbeard are the main characters who come to life in the poetic and dreamlike world of contemporary dance and new circus. The new production of Swan Lake connects contemporary dance, new circus and original music by Jitka Jagerová and Philip Glass into an original stage form. The classic story is transformed into a symbolic image of transformations. Acrobatic elements, physical intensity of movement and lively musical composition create a dynamic production that appeals to today's audience and offers a new perspective on the well-known ballet myth about the cursed princess Odette, the in love prince Siegfried in the fight against the darkness of the warlock Redbeard and the black swan Odile.
