Když se zhasne

A marriage held together only by a prenuptial agreement on a napkin, four friends, seven sins on the menu and countless funny situations that come with it. When a heavy dose of revenge, a pinch of conspiracy and the nervousness of the grand opening of a new restaurant are added to the mix, the main actors have a real treat in store. The star-studded comedy When the Lights Go Out with Petra Hřebíčková, Vojta Kotek, Tomáš Maštalír, Martin Pechlát and Petra Polnišová is full of flavor and shows that some truths simply cannot be kept under wraps.

Nina (Petra Hřebíčková) has a big day ahead of her, the biggest one yet. She is about to open her own restaurant, and so she is appropriately nervous. Her husband Richard is also uneasy, as their marriage has been in turmoil for quite some time. If it weren't for the contract they once wrote on a napkin while drunk, in which they pledged that whoever causes the end of the relationship will leave empty-handed, divorce would have been on the table long ago. Therefore, in desperation, Richard asks his best friend Čenda (Martin Pechlát) to seduce Nina when he least expects it - at the opening of her new business. But she finds out and plans sweet revenge. Infidelity for infidelity! And so the plan is not only to prepare a seven-course menu that Nina and Mirek (Vojta Kotek) serve to their VIP guests, but also to a festive evening full of confusion, comical situations and gastronomic surprises. Petra Hřebíčková and Tomáš Maštalír will play a married couple who once planned their future together and are now looking for a way out of their shared life. Petra Polnišová and Martin Pechlát will play the roles of their best friends. Vojta Kotek will shine as the chef in the film, Simona Lewandowska will play Nina's younger sister, and Lucie Vondráčková will portray the feared food critic. The festive menu served during the grand opening was put together by Oldřich Sahajdák, chef patron of one of the best Czech restaurants La Degustation Boheme Bourgeoise and its sister restaurant Marie B. The seven courses are inspired by the seven deadly sins and were prepared in front of the camera by Michelin-starred chef Marco Christov and his team. Not only the culinary masters could boast of the most prestigious award in their field on the set. The surprising car scenes in the center of Olomouc were taken care of by stuntman Jindřich Klaus, winner of the “stunt Oscar” Taurus World Stunt Award. The film When the Light Goes Out was based on the popular play of the same name by Michaela Doležalová and Roman Vencl, which was first performed by the Moravian Theatre Olomouc in 2012 and has been in the repertoire to this day. It was directed by Andy Fehu (ONEMANSHOW: The Movie, Shoky & Morthy: The Last Big Event), who describes the comedy as a film full of flavors. "I would liken it to a very long and good menu. It's about friendship, relationships and secrets that you shouldn't keep inside for too long," adds Fehu.
