A tropical island near the equator and the most dangerous representatives of the dinosaur species on it. These are the backdrops and anti-heroes of the new film from the legendary Jurassic series. An expedition sets out here, eager to make a major scientific breakthrough. If its members aren't eaten by something first.
The story of the adventure film Jurassic World: Rebirth takes place five years after the events of the previous part. At that time, it seemed that people would have to learn to live with dinosaurs, but in the meantime, our planet's ecosystem has brought them to the brink of extinction again. The last of these majestic creatures survive on a strip of deserted tropical islands near the equator. A scientific expedition is setting out to one of them, which may make a major medical breakthrough if it manages to obtain blood samples from three different gigantic lizards. It is clear that this will not be a relaxing trip, so the scientists hire a specialist with extensive combat experience, Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson) and her partner Duncan Kincaid (two-time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali), as their escort. However, the place they are going to hide one really big secret, which even an entire army could not cope with. The mission is beset by a series of huge problems from the start, and the situation is not made any easier by a family who wanders in during a family yacht trip. They may find themselves in a tropical paradise, but at the same time in a place where humans are far from the top of the food chain. And the local ecosystem shows them this in a harsh way.
"We wanted to make a film that would bring a breath of fresh air, but at the same time follow on from the previous installments," says longtime Jurassic Park producer Frank Marshall. "We have new heroes, new environments and new dinosaurs, some of which are really nasty monsters. At the same time, I'm pleased that the film carries a strong line that refers to where it all began, to the original Jurassic Park," adds the producer.
