From Dan Bárta, JAR or Illustratosphere, bassist Robert Balzar loves to escape into the jazz world of his acoustic trio. The format is the same, but the lineup is gradually changing. Now he says that he probably could never have a better one, now that it is the absolute peak and that he has never understood anyone musically as much as he does now. Kamil Slezák on drums, Vít Křišťan on piano. We know both of them well from Jazzinca, so we understand why he chose these very empathetic and sensitive players for the trio.
Their album Conversation is nominated for the Anděl Award and is also in the top nomination for album of the year in the Czech Radio Jazz poll. This is certainly also because the album was recorded without a single cut or correction. Everything there is as authentic as possible.
