Hope

When all reinforcements are sent to a massive forest fire, leaving the remote port town of Hope cut off from the outside world, the local police chief Bum-seok (Hwang Jung-Min) and policewoman Sung-ae (Hoyeon) fight a desperate battle to protect the mostly elderly residents. Meanwhile, in the surrounding mountains, Sung-ki (Zo In-Sung) and a group of locals follow the trail of a mysterious beast, unaware that they themselves are becoming its prey. What begins as an underestimation of an unknown threat, through human conflicts and fateful decisions, turns into a catastrophe of unimaginable proportions, far beyond the limits of human comprehension.
