Kristýna (Martina Babišová) has a seemingly peaceful life in a small town. She works in a library, runs the community center "Ostrov" and has a long-time boyfriend Filip (Adam Mišík). However, when she discovers that Filip is cheating on her, she decides to end the relationship and take her life into her own hands. Hoping that her family will support her, she turns to her parents (Milan Šteindler and Jitka Sedláčková), but instead of providing support, they only give her unsolicited advice and their beliefs about what is best for her. Although Kristýna is determined to stand on her own two feet, her mom and dad don't make it easy for her with their advice and a completely different perspective on life. Fortunately, she has her best friend Tamara (Anita Krausová) by her side, who supports her in stopping looking at the expectations of others and finally living according to herself. The moment Kristýna decides to say goodbye to her old life, a charismatic graphic designer named Tomáš (Kryštof Bartoš) gets in her way. Now she faces a difficult decision: whether to stay in a familiar but complicated relationship with Filip or take a step into the unknown with Tomáš. Will Kristýna finally find true love? The main character's parents were brilliantly portrayed by actors Milan Šteindler and Jitka Sedláčková. They have their own view of their daughter's life and happiness, and although Kristýna longs for independence, they always know best what is right for her and constantly remind her of it. Václav Upír Krejčí also has a role in the new film. "My character is supposed to be an eighty-year-old former showman who sings with a band and here in the film he will sing the song Pramínek vlasů. His wife recently died and he would like to integrate himself among the young to pass on to them his memories that he experienced with his wife and is trying to win their favor," Krejčí describes his role.
