An American actress, a former teen star, arrives in Norway to shoot a film adaptation of Hedy Gabler, who has been cast in the title role by a quirky director.

A new retelling of Henrik Ibsen's classic play has been written by British playwright Nina Segal. Her play SHOOTING HEDDA GABLER premiered in September 2023 at the Rose Theatre in London.
