After two years in prison, young Roma Dalibor returns home, but is forced to face a family crisis. In order to protect his younger brother Kevin from the harsh upbringing of his alcoholic father, who never goes far for a slap, he uses all his strength to help his mother win the court case for Kevin's custody. In order to cope with the traumas of his past and the demanding present, he escapes into the magical world of a traveling circus. It is there that he can cast off all his worries and transform into a fearless fakir who breathes and swallows fire. Roman Ďuriš's feature debut is a visually enchanting introspection of a tenacious, life-hardened, yet still fragile young man on the fringes of society, who is determined to change his fate for the better.
