Dům pro dva

One of the most significant Czech films of the late 1980s and Ondřej Vetchý's first major film role, House for Two returns to the screen at DEBUTIKU in a special screening, which will be personally introduced by Ondřej Vetchý.

Before the film itself, we will discuss his acting beginnings, his memories of filming, and the role that significantly influenced his film career. Meeting a personality who was at the beginning of his career naturally follows the main idea of DEBUTIK – every great film story begins somewhere.

Two brothers live with their mother in an old house on the outskirts of town. Both work in a printing house. The older Bóža is a quiet, responsible man with opinions determined by his Christian faith. Dan is a punk who enjoys pub entertainment. Only after a man's tragic death does he begin to understand that something is missing in his life.
