This year, the European Heritage Days belong to associations

Trutnov is joining the pan-European commemorations of cultural heritage this year, but this time with an emphasis on the "living" heritage - on associations and organizations. At the UFFO social center, on Krakonoš Square and other places in the city center, you will have the opportunity to look behind the scenes at the activities of local patriots. Come support community life in Trutnov and discover the wealth that lies in the activities of our fellow citizens.

The opening ceremony will take place at Uff from 10:00.

Throughout the day, local associations and organizations will present themselves in front of the UFFO community center:

The associations will present their activities, provide information, and some will also offer workshops, product and creative demonstrations, or interactive activities for the public.

The Uffa lobby will feature:

● Stamp exhibition of the Trutnov Philatelists' Club

● Poster exhibition of the Trutnov Alternative Scene Association, zs, on the 25th anniversary of the WebrovkaFest festival

Krakonoš Square
10:00–17:00

● Veterans' display – a tour of carefully maintained cars from the Trutnov car and motorcycle museum Reincars. On Trutnov Square during DED you will see part of their collection: Škoda Favorit, Škoda Popular, Škoda 1201 Sedan, Škoda 445 Spartak with Dingo caravan and probably also Škoda 1000 MB or other treasures.

● Presentation of the Horní Staré Město Volunteer Fire Department, Trutnov – tour of the new MAN TGE transport vehicle. An information board with other interesting facts about their activities will also be prepared on site.

● Painting of the 1866 memorial plaque at 2:30 p.m. – Trutnov Military History Club

● Exhibition organized by the Čapek Brothers Club entitled "Čapek Brothers in Orava" – opening will take place at 2:00 p.m.

● Viewing the chronicle and photo chronicle of the city, meeting with the city chronicler Mgr. Alena Křivská, exhibition of both supplements of the Chronicle of the City of Trutnov 2025 in the ceremonial hall

● Exhibition of illustrations by students of Trutnov Elementary School, R. Frimla

Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, Farská Street

16:00–17:00 – concert by the music association Trutnoforte, zs The association brings together graduates of the Trutnov Primary School, who will perform works of classical and sacred music highlighting the acoustics and atmosphere of the unique space of the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary. The mixed choir Chorea Corcontica under the direction of Eva Slaninová will also participate.

The exhibition is a look back at the modern twenty-year tradition of original city festivities that revive the legend of the slaying of the Trutnov dragon and its subsequent donation to Brno.

1. As part of DED, the Czech Tourist Club Trutnov has prepared a trail through the city center, during which you will visit open cultural objects. If you collect at least 5 stamps out of 9 possible, a small gift awaits you at the KČT or TIC booth at Uff. The stamps belong to the playing field.

2. Anyone who comes to the KČT stand can also take part in a quiz that is completed during the visit to the monuments. The quiz can be played online with a mobile phone or in paper form. The reward for completing the quiz will be a commemorative certificate, which you will receive upon returning to the KČT stand.
