A travel discussion about life in the rainforest among Amazonian Indians from remote areas of Peru and Ecuador, supplemented by photographs from the trips. We will try to understand the world through the eyes of Amazonian Indians not only through their customs, spirituality and ceremonies, but also through the interesting and sometimes tense situations that the traveler had to face in order to be able to stay in these conditions for a long time and gain the trust of the indigenous people. You will learn how the life of Amazonian tribes, especially the feared warriors from the Shuar (Jivaro) tribe, has changed since the times of our famous travelers M. Stingl or Zikmund and Hanzelka, what challenges contemporary Indians have to face with the advent of the modern world and how they can be an inspiration to us on our journey through life. We will also briefly talk about how the Czech expedition along the Jaguar River to the Amazon (August 2023) went.
