DANIEL SUŠKA: DIONÝSOVY DĚTI/SHLUKY A RYTMY

Daniel Suška's work carries a strong performative imprint. It is not just the image that is the result – it is the process. The reification of movement, the internalization of rhythm, the aesthetics of bodily experience. It is no coincidence that his visual language is influenced by street art and graffiti – forms that themselves grow out of a bodily gesture, out of a pulsating need for presence. And just as graffiti transforms public space, Suška's works transform gallery space into a space of strong sensory communication. His paintings contain a desire for discovery – in layers of colour, in structures of shapes, in the tension between line and surface, between light and shadow. The artist works with a subtle contrast between matter and emptiness, stillness and movement. This creates a composition that is not static, but flows. Here, painting is not an image, but a phenomenon. An event.
