The production was inspired by the fairy tale The Little Mermaid by H. Ch. Andersen. It asks why it is so difficult to have a sincere relationship today and why commitment is almost terrifying for people. The work responds to how fragile, changeable and unstable relationships are today.
The present is reflected in many media that promise constant connection, but we are increasingly disconnected from ourselves, from our loved ones and from our surroundings. Society is distorted by the primary character of mammon, the world of money, artificial fame, expensive clothes and superficial relationships, into which we "swim" like an innocent soul into a net.
The production uses excerpts from poetry collections by the following authors: I. Štrpka, J. Motulko, F. Pessoa. It uses elements of theater, new circus and dance in combination with visual theater, lighting design and musical accompaniment.
