CIRKO HOPLEY: TEACROBAT

The family acrobatic and culinary show is a celebration of traditional and new circus.

Teacrobat is a humorous solo in the acrobat's kitchen, where he invites you to a good portion of fun and fragrant gingerbread. The artist has equipped his manege with a sideboard and a pantry, there is no shortage of tables or chairs. And in between all this, he keeps fit! He exercises, stretches, balances with things, overcomes height differences, playfully and with ease. The generous host offers a rich palette of circus art, whose delicacies he serves in the form of performances while performing everyday activities, which include preparing treats. In the performance, the main and only hero not only spins with a wooden spoon and around tea cups, but also proves to be an excellent equilibrist, a phenomenal handstander and a cute clown.

The author's project is the story of a big circus dream of his own big top. Michal Mudrák had a tent made to measure. Not only can he build it, but he can also perform the entire performance, set up the sound and lighting. Then he packs it up, takes it down and moves on.

In Denmark, it won the Den Danske Cirkuspris award. The performance Teacrobat was also nominated for the Thalia Award 2024 in the category of alternative theatre.
